My reason for starting the campaign

As we share #theeverybodycampaign with you we wanted to explain the inspiration for it.

The nature of spray tanning requires you to “strip down” to varying degrees. And for whatever reason, by physically removing the protection of clothing we suddenly feel vulnerable. And yes, I say WE because we feel it, too, even though it’s what we do!

And what happens when we feel vulnerable? In our studio it’s usually one of two things:

1. Apologize. I can’t tell you how many women have apologized to us! For unpedicured toes, cellulite, scars, small boobs, big boobs, saggy boobs...you get the point😉

Or 2. Call ourselves out: we feel like everyone else is as focused on our insecurities as we are. So we beat them to the punch - usually by saying things like, “Make sure you tan my big butt!” Or, “What pose do you want me to do to get my saggy boob line?” “Can you paint abs on me?” And while we do have the perfect poses to paint your peach 🍑and lift the girls, and we will laugh along with you, it’s never something we want you to feel insecure about.

We got into this business because we want you to feel your best: to give you the natural glow that helps you rock your wedding dress, strut that swimsuit on the beach, or feel sexy whether you’re naked or owning the chunky sweater look.

More often than not, the thing one girl hates about herself is the same thing another would love to have.

We all have insecurities. But our bodies change - that’s how it should be. What your body looks like now is likely different than how it looked 10 years ago and it will likely change again over the next 10 years. It is simply a representation of your journey to where you are right now in your life. And that is certainly nothing to apologize for.

Everybody is beautiful. Every. Body. Is beautiful. ❤️We can’t wait to share more with you this week!
